ELLIOT LAKE, Ont. – The Elliot Lake Wildcats got two points apiece from Chad Lopez, Spencer MacLean and Cole Hepler to help them double up the Cochrane Crunch 4-2 Friday evening in a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League match-up at Centennial Arena.

The Elliot Lake trio combined to notch the night’s opening tally as Lopez beat Cochrane starter Allan Menary at 2:50.

The Crunch drew level at 13:24 of the first as Hunter Atchison buried his league-leading 50th goal of the season to knot the affair at 1-1.

Lopez put the Wildcats back in front 11:11 into the second stanza with his second of the evening and 20th overall.

Matthew Colunga picked up the eventual game-winner at 17:05 of the session to put the home side up 3-1.

MacLean added another for Elliot Lake a mere nine seconds later with his 29th marker in 2015-16.

Cochrane got one back with 39 seconds left in the period, but Brenden Van Sweden’s 12th proved to be the final tally of the night.
