Florida forward en route

The Crunch are happy to announce that, after some long talks and many options, American forward Alex Morawski has decided he would like to play for the Crunch this year.

Alex was one of our top recruits that we started to reach out to when starting our recruiting process back in May.

With so many opportunities out there Alex and his family took their time deciding where he is best fit to play as he had options already to go play in the NCAA this year as a 19 yr old.

Alex is very excited now that he made his decision to join the Crunch and can’t wait to get here.

Alex started last year in the NAHL in Alaska with the kenia River brown Bears and then ended up in the EHL, another great Junior league in the States, with the Wilke Barres Scranton Knights.

Alex is a lot like forward Levi Johnson who played for us last season.

He has attitude on the ice that will make players think twice about getting under his skin and he has a great skill set for a big fella.

Alex joined the Crunch squad down in Toronto in June and scored a couple nice goals and showed what he had to offer here.

Alex is from Lake Worth Florida and is a 6’2 – 190lbs left winger.

We are excited to see Alex here on the ice next week in Cochrane.

Welcome to CRUNCHTIME!
