The Crunch are very happy to announce that we have acquired highly skilled veteran forward Baldino Aiello from the Rayside Belfour Canadians in a player development fee deal.
Baldino who hails from Thunder Bay Ontario had many opportunities in his decision where he would like to go and has chosen the Crunch.
The Crunch jumped all over the opportunity when he came up on the wire back in May as he was looking for a new home next season.
We had preliminary talks in May and last week after Baldino had time to decide which options to choose he chose us.
We are excited he brings energy and skill and experience to an already veteran line up along with coming from a great AAA program in the Thunder Bay Kings prior to playing in Rayside. Baldino knows our program well as the Crunch and Canadians played in the highly intense NOJHL Championship series this past spring.
